    Kiwiherb Children’s Organic Throat Syrup is an organic herbal formula, designed to soothe a sore throat in infants and children.  Thyme has traditionally been used to support respiratory tract health, while Echinacea provides systemic immune support.  We’ve designed this product as a sweet tasting syrup, with no added sugar, that’s easy to administer, to even the fussiest children.  It's naturally sweetened with Mānuka and Thyme Honey.  

    No added artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners or preservatives. 

    Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  

    Suitable for vegetarians.

    Ingredients

    Primary active ingredients:

    Thyme – A potent mucus expectorant for clearing tickly throats, tight chests and bronchial agitation. Thyme helps remove stubborn mucus.

    Echinacea – This herb boosts healthy immune defenses and lessens discomfort when an infant or child is unwell.

    Honey (Mānuka and Thyme) - Honey soothes dry, tickly throats and helps to fight infection. It also supports immune health.

    Each mL of this certified organic product contains:

    Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) dry herb extract 80 microlitres (derived from 40mg dry herb).

    Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) dry root extract 50 microlitres (derived from 25mg dry root).

    Honey (Mānuka and Thyme) 150mg

    In a base of purified water, glycerol, lemon oil, orange flavour and citric acid.

    Contains no artificial flavours, sweeteners, colours, or preservatives.

    Dosage

    Infants 0-1 year: 0.5 mL
    Children 1-2 yrs: 2 mL
    Children 2-3 yrs: 3 mL
    Children 3-5 yrs: 4 mL
    Children 5+ yrs: 5 mL

    Take 3-5 times daily.

    Dilute in 30 mL water or juice and drink immediately.
    Follow with a glass of water if necessary.

    Cautions

    Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
    Those allergic to Asteraceae family plants (eg chamomile, artichokes, daisies) should take care when taking Echinacea due to possible allergic reaction. A tingling or numbering sensation may occur in the month immediately after taking - this is normal and indicative of the quality & potency of Echinacea.

    My daughter was unwell with a cold/flu and had a terrible cough and itchy throat. I had some throat syrup in my house from the last time she was sick and it worked well to settle the itch in her throat and calmed her cough.

    Sore throat gone!

    My child had a sore throat for almost a week that was irritating and inflamed. I went out to get them some Kiwiherb throat syrup and it really helped her throat irritation. I will definitely be buying this again.
